Date, place and the widest range the time could be in. "Between 11 pm and 6:30 am" is fine.

Moves, marriages, children, career turns, losses. The more precise the dates, the narrower the window.

We test every 5 minutes
A candidate chart for each step across your range, each one scored against your events.

Then we try to prove it wrong
Some of your events are held back and used only at the end, to check the winning window.
